Create classic, grab-and-go snack sticks at home with LEM® Backwoods® Original Snack Stick Seasoning. This perfectly balanced blend of premium spices—enhanced with a hint of mustard—delivers the traditional snack stick flavor you know and love. Ideal for wild game or domestic meats, each pre-measured packet includes cure and step-by-step instructions for dependable, great-tasting results every time.
Grind a meat mixture containing at least 20% pork or pork fat, dissolve the seasoning in water, and mix thoroughly until tacky. Use a Jerky Cannon to form strips and bake at 200°F until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, or stuff into natural sheep or 17–21mm collagen casings. Smoke or bake at 180°F until fully cooked. Refrigerate after preparation for lasting freshness.
