Craft rich, smoky jerky with LEM® Backwoods® Hickory Jerky Seasoning. This expertly blended mix delivers a classic hickory smoke aroma with a slightly sweet, savory finish that enhances the natural flavor of wild game or domestic meats. Designed for high-volume processing, this bulk seasoning includes a pre-measured cure to ensure consistent, reliable results in every batch.
For the marinade method, slice meat to your desired thickness, mix seasoning with water, and refrigerate for 8 hours. For ground jerky, blend the seasoning and water with meat until tacky, then form into strips. Cook in the oven at 200°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes per side, or dehydrate according to your dehydrator manufacturer’s instructions. Refrigerate or freeze finished jerky for storage.
